I always imagined that these old-school scissors were used for something far more sinister than cutting a piece of cloth... sharp, cold, heavy, stainless-steel instruments normally belong on some crude operating-table somewhere...

wow! thank you so much for the DD, I read every comment and thank you for all the favs!!
Been getting alot of comments saying this image looks like kuchisake onna (slit mouthed women) I actually didn't know about the story until today, didn't take this picture with that story in mind although I will admit after researching the legend I have to agree it does kind of look like her!
The suggester says; "Let's play is a fantastic and striking image...Creeping me out but still deliciously lovely." Let's play by *Lady-Quiescent (

Operating table? Eek! I do not believe you are using these evil things for a legitimate medical purpose and I demand to see your license this instant! I will not cooperate in your evil plot!!
I am in love with this picture! I'd love to be your photographer because not many people I know are that bold and adventurous. Perhaps I just don't know the right people.
Beautiful! I'd love to have permission to have this printed. My "peaceful" room would look great with a 5x7 of this...It's actually my main desktops background right now.
(regardless if a print is watermarked or not, I always ask the artists permission to print the photo)
